eV+ Switches, release notes

Hi
Where can I find a complete list and explanation of the system switches for eV+?
There is one called "OBSTACLE" that I'm curious about.
What about release notes? Differences to V+. Found 2.1 that did'n seem complete.
What is the best way to find documentation?

Re: Cross reference, Find Variables, Where Used

Hi I have a fix for that at my home page - see my signature. Its called IziFinder2. You can search for any text occurrences in programs and get a hit list with programs and step numbers also possible to scroll code around hit. The idea is from an old FTP download that Adept had once. But this is mor...

Re: How to Change the read-only mode to read-write mode

In see editor command mode type x+r+w. Be sure you're in the command mode and not insert or replace mode! There can also be some interlock as program executing. This "bug" came around ver 10.-11. something.

Re: High Power Reset Issue

Sometimes power supply issues can cause tricky startup problems. So check your power voltages, especially at power up (enabling power), so they are ok.

Re: Adept Windows PC and Win 7

Don't use Basler connection use/set up another network connection using the same network hardware but with Windows standard driver. Think the Basler driver have restricted settings to not confuse what its supposed to connect. I use the Basler for internet connection w. DHCP addressing and a std. Win...

Re: Adept Windows PC and Win 7

Think you may need a separate network connection for AdeptWindows. I mean just soft not hardware. With its own network driver so its not the one for Vision. I have a Basler driver where not much is shown regarding driver settings. Think it should be one of Windows/your PC's own network drivers. (It'...

Re: Adept ACE 3.4 Production Release

Whats the latest ACE version?
I have 3.6.3.2
Your documentation on your adept.de site says 3.4.xx.xx is that the latest manuals?
Where is it possible to find version number on your site?

Is info.de@adept.com not working anymore. Why is it still on the adept.de site?

Re: Entry field in Windows

You'll need in principle: FSET(lun) "/event keypress" $input="" ; clear input string DO ; event loop GETEVENT(lun,1) ; mode 1 means no wait so you don't hang program execution on waiting for an event CASE event[0] OF VALUE 0: ; keypress CASE TRUE OF VALUE NOT OUTSIDE(ASC("a&...

Re: Entry field in Windows

I'm not sure I understand what you have. If you have a graphics window opened by V+ you can use the "GETEVENT(lun, mode) events[index]" command to detect mouse and keypress events in that window. Loop with no wait mode and mask off error -526 (no data received) and then check events[]. mak...

Re: Creating reference point

Lets say you have a reference loc called "ref". "ref" could be taught or set or whatever, so the SET command below may not be needed. In V+: SET ref = TRANS(xref, yref, zref, rxref, ryref, rzref) ; New location "loc" with the offset "xvalue" in directions of X-axis...
