High Power Lamp Failure

Postby Tom_Miller » Tue May 06, 2014 6:36 am

Hello

I was wondering if there was a way to set an output in smart controller when you have a high power lamp failure in the white button. We get this failure and it would be nice to be able to output to the PLC to set a fault on the HMI to speed troubleshooting.

Thanks

Hello Tom,

sorry for the late answer.

You can "catch" the error with a V+ program and set your output.

e.g.

o.high.pwr.lamp = 1 ;"map" output 1 to o.high.pwr.lamp
WHILE NOT SWITCH(POWER) DO

ENABLE POWER

IF NOT SWITCH(POWER) THEN

FOR fifo = 1000 TO 1021

IF ERROR(fifo) < 0 THEN
SIGNAL o.high.pwr.lamp
TYPE $ERROR(ERROR(fifo))
PAUSE
END

END

END

END
