Accuracy on TOOL & INVERSE

Postby rotekopler » Wed Jun 01, 2016 11:07 pm

hello!

I would like to know, what is the possibility that the command INVERSE can cause a low accuracy on a given point to the robot and how it can be prevented?

As i run my program with the command INVERSE I noticed the robot deviates 1-2 millimeter from the location he need to be.
I checked the same movement with the regular TOOL command and in that case the robot deviates 0-0.2 millimeter.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

can you post an example we can use for testing?

Mathematically there is no difference in using TOOL versus INVERSE.
