Menu Pages

Postby jneumannsmc » Mon Jun 07, 2010 5:23 am

Hello all,

Is there a way to load a module "behind the scenes" so that when I pull up a menu page containing data in a different module than the one currently selected, the data doesn't show up as a line of question marks?

For example, my current application runs in 'Module A', but when a specific menu page is pulled up by the user, I need to display some data from 'Module B'. How can I automatically switch to this module to properly display the data as opposed to manually navigating to Module > Select/Edit and selecting the module and then pulling up the desired page?

It's been a while since I've done a lot with AIM, but you may want to look at the "Menu Statements" Plug-In. It adds this command, available from an AIM Sequence:
SELECT_MODULE Select a module as "current" for menu driver

The download center is here:
The Menu Statements Plug-In is ID 5057
