Executing motion commands from MATLAB

Hello all,

I have an Adept Viper S650 robot which comes with the ACE software. My objective is to develop motion commands in MATLAB software on a PC, and to deploy the commands to the robot controller via standard serial communication protocols (RS232 or similar). To do this, I think I would need some form of an interpreter that translates the MATLAB motions commands into the V+ command language to be executable on the robot drives. Would you please help me on how I can perform this?
