USB DAQ

Postby NHuntoon » Thu Jul 25, 2013 7:32 am

Has anyone used a USB Data Acquisition device with their SmartControler CX? We need to get 2-4 analog signals into the robot for feedback and control and this seems like the cheapest/easiest solution. I'm concerned that the drivers won't work, and/or the data won't be available to the robots operational environment.

I have used an analog devicenet module to interface with analog signals.

The SmartController CX does not have support for USB. The only serial interfaces available are RS-232/485
