Upward & downward camera offset calibration

I've been reading through the camera calibration sequences in the ACE user guide, but I'm still stumped when it comes to the procedure to calibrate the offset between two cameras.

In theory, if I have one upward facing camera fixed relative to the robot base, and one downward facing camera fixed relative to the tool, I would need to know the relative distance between both cameras in order to be able to locate the TCP with the upward camera, and then locate the place location with the downward facing camera.

How do I find a common reference point between both cameras to do the calibration? I cannot "teach" in tool positions since this application requires higher accuracy than that.
