Adept cycle - Burst & Sustained

Postby sathish » Mon Aug 08, 2011 8:18 pm

Hello friends,
I am Sathish from World's Fifth largest watch manufacturer "TITAN INDUSTRIES LIMITED,INDIA". We have been implementing Adept i600 in our factory for our machine tending operations of critical watch components. I have doubts in calculating the cycle time for my new project using Adept i600. Having mentioned the Adept cycle in Adept's website, I could not understand the exact meaning of Adept cycle - Burst & Sustained.
Kindly help me in this regard. Thanking you in advance.

Burst Means that the robot is capable of the stated rates for a short time, while Sustained means that the robot will be able to continue at the stated rate "indefinitely" without reaching duty cycle or motor temperature limits.
