Python Error

Postby blakeb » Thu Aug 22, 2013 8:12 am

I didn't see a section for the Python modules, so I started this topic here. I have configured a 4-axix, XYZT, robot using 4 python modules. However, I am unable to start the calibration step, because of an E1 error on the z and theta axis. I am unable to enable power because of this error. I have gone through the setup several times. The manual doesn't say what would cause the error. Any help?

In ACE, if you open up the robot object, under Control-Hardware Diagnostics you will be able to see the faults. E1 means that there is an encoder fault. From here, you can reset it. Then in under Motor 1, you can open up the calibration section and reteach/home/calibrate the axis.
