Process Manager Abort Button

Postby ddoerr » Mon Dec 01, 2014 12:30 pm

How does the abort button function to shut down a process manager task?
Does it set a signal, call a function or...?

I am attempting to use digital I/O to perform the same without success. I have selected a custom monitor task which when the I/O button is pressed, stops the main process by setting pm.run to False. This stops the process but not the associated I/O feeder task. The abort button on the GUI stops everything.

Thanks.

The easiest way to do this is to use a remote library call to stop the process manager. This would work:

CALL rm.execute($pm.manager, "Stop", 0, $args[], 0, sts)

Günter, Do you have any documentation that describes the methods available for pm.manager, ie. "Stop"?

Thanks,

Hi Ryan,

I don't have any documentation about the methods for pm.manager. I will ask my colleagues if they have any.
