The MicroV+ programming language is a subset of the V+ programming language. Although MicroV+ is based on the V+ programming language, there are many functional differences. To learn more about the differences between V+ and MicroV+, click here. To learn more about the V+ operating system and programming language, see the V+ Operating System User's Guide and the V+ Language User's Guide.
MicroV+ is controlled by an interactive monitor that reads and executes monitor commands, such as STATUS, IO, EXECUTE, KILL, etc. You can use the monitor to start up to four tasks, each running a different program. MicroV+ supports subroutines and all program control structures, such as FOR loops, IF-THEN-ELSE, WHILE loops, and GOTO. Additionally, MicroV+ includes acceleration and deceleration control, control structures, and control through I/O signals.
The Adept DeskTop, Lite edition is used to enter all programs. This utility provides the editing capabilities necessary to create and maintain small programs. You also have the option to purchase the full version of Adept DeskTop to work in conjunction with MicroV+. The full version provides more editing features with the monitor.
NOTE: If you prefer to edit a program using terminal emulation, you can use the MicroV+ EDIT line editor. More..
