This document provides Adept V+ System users with a quick reference to V+ System Configuration Options.
The V+ Operating System manages the flow of information within the controller. The operating system accepts the following:
Instructions from application programs
Input from workcell peripheral devices
Operator input from the MCP, keyboard, and pointing device.
The V+ System Configuration Editor
Note - Soft switches that define the communication method, boot drive, autoboot and autostart reside in the RTC (real time clock chip) on the AWC board. This chip CANNOT be removed. Switch settings must be reset via the Config_C utility program whenever you replace the board.
Displaying NVRAM Contents (model, serial #, network IP address, installed options)
