Cobra s600/s800 Self-Support

This course covers the periodic maintenance and advanced repair procedures for the Adept Amp In Base (AIB) Cobra s600 and s800 robots using the SmartController control system. Students will learn to isolate problems on the Adept Cobra s600 and s800 robots and make quick repairs so that down time is minimized. Students will learn the major component systems and control systems of the Adept Cobra robot and how to troubleshoot those systems. Hands-on experience is stressed.
This course includes the system diagnosis and troubleshooting including the complete disassembly, re-assembly and exact repair techniques. This course is intended for maintenance personnel who will be responsible for maintenance and repair of the Adept robot and control system. Note: For Adept AIB Cobra robot control systems that do not include the Adept SmartController, students should enroll in the Adept iCobra System Maintenance course.
