Coverter hig to jpg

Coverter hig to jpg

Postby WallE » Mon Jun 08, 2015 6:35 am

Hello is there a converter for the hig file format to the jpg format. I am aware that the file format includes calibration data. The internal ACE export function is pretty unstable when used with many images. Or do I have to code this myself using the ACE Api?

Hi,

you can store the image in different formats using the V+ program as.save.image which is automatically loaded by ACE and supplying the filename on the PC. With this you can save the image in these formats (hig, tif, jpg, gif, png and bmp) by adding the extension e.g. myimage.bmp to the filename.

Hi,

I am trying to do the same thing and I don't understand how to utilize the as.save.image function. I want to call it from V+ and the way I know how to do that is rm.execute if my C# script was working. Would you please post an example code that outlines how to do this.

Best Regards,
Nate

Hi Nate,

the progam as.save.image is a V+ program.

Here is an example that stores the current image on the PC (D:\) in a .jpg as well as a .bmp.

Code: Select all
.PROGRAM gg.vis()

        $ip = "127.0.0.1"
        seq = 1

        VRUN $ip, seq
        VWAITI (1) $ip

        $filename = "d:\vis.jpg"
        CALL as.save.image($filename, $ip, seq, 1, status)

        $filename = "d:\vis.bmp"
        CALL as.save.image($filename, $ip, seq, 1, status)

.END
