Adept Sight 2.0 Help

Postby CaiClarke » Tue Dec 02, 2014 2:02 am

Just to give you a bit of background to my issue. I am running an Adept Quattro robot with a backlit vision system to pick items from a moving conveyor belt. The items are then placed into specific 'buckets' on a moving tooled chain.
The vision system is powered by adept sight 2.0.

What I am looking to do is count the number of items that are 'accepted' by the vision system so that I can see what the acceptance rate of the items fed through the system are.
When tinkering with the system I noticed that the communication tool at the end of the sequence chooses whether an item is queued or passed on. I was just wondering if it is possible to get a cumulative figure from the communication tool so that if 100 items are passed through I can see that 88 were queued and 12 were passed on.

Is this possible?? Is there a better way of doing this??
